West Virginia’s sports betting and online wagers $321 million in July

West Virginia’s sports betting and online wagers was officially snapped in July, with slight increases in handle for both camps.

In total, retail and legal online sports betting operators in West Virginia took in $321.0 million in combined wagering handle during July, which represented a 16% jump. Online wagers were a total of $41.5 million.

Virginia reports numbers weekly rather than by calendar month. July represents July 1-29.

The state has taken in just under $252 million in West Virginia sports betting handle through seven months of the calendar year, averaging out to around $35.995 million per month
