United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports_ULIS presented at the INTERPOL Match-Fixing Task Force (IMFTF)

The 13th Meeting of the INTERPOL Match-Fixing Task Force (IMFTF) was held in Buenos Aires from 12 to 14 September at the Centro Universitario de la Policia Federal Argentina.

Presenting at the event,  #ULIS  President Gilles Maillet highlighted the important role that  #lotteries  can play in the international cooperation to fight crime in sport, in particular in relation to law enforcement investigations.

He explained that ULIS and the lotteries assist investigations by gathering information and intelligence from any suspected activity, pre and during the sport event, and compiling it in a report that can be used in potential investigative procedures.

The meeting enabled key stakeholders from sports entities, law enforcement and sports and sports betting monitoring organizations, to share best practices, experiences and use cases.
