PA Lottery to hold first ever Facebook Live drawing for a chance to win up to $7,777

Middletown, Pa. –Pennsylvania Lottery players will have a chance to participate in the Lottery’s first ever Facebook LIVE drawing for a chance to win up to $7,777. The live event called 7-11-21® LIVE! will take place on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 7 p.m. (ET).

“Our 7-11-21® LIVE Scratch-Off game has already been very popular with our players. This Facebook Live event, which has the same theme and a unique date, gives our players additional chances to win prizes,” said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. “Offering fun and new ways players can enjoy our Lottery games allows us the ability to generate funds for vital programs that seniors rely on every day.”

To participate in the 7-11-21® LIVE! event a player must:

  1. Tune into the 7-11-21® LIVE! event broadcast via the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official Facebook page on July 11, 2021 at approximately 7:11 p.m. (ET).
  2. Make a qualifying comment during the 7-11-21® LIVE! event in the event chat window on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Official Facebook page as directed on the page.
  3. Meet all participating requirements, as set forth by the Promotion. Rules seen here: 7-11-21 LIVE! Official Promotion Rules.

Each of these steps must be completed during the actual 7-11-21® LIVE! event occurring on July 11, 2021, between the approximate times of 7:11 p.m. (ET) and 7:32 p.m. (ET).

The possible cash prizes to be won are: $77, $777, or $7,777. One of those three (3) prize values will be selected during the 7-11-21® LIVE! event. Forty (40) participants who are randomly selected and qualify to win a prize will win the prize value determined during the 7-11-21® LIVE! event.

“This Facebook LIVE event takes place during Lottery Week, and we can’t think of a better way to thank our players who support seniors each time they play,” added Svitko.

The third annual Lottery Week, which begins July 11, highlights positive impacts that lotteries make and recognizes the important roles they play in their jurisdictions. Lottery Week evolved from an idea implemented by the Massachusetts Lottery in 2018, declaring July 17, 2018 as the official National Lottery Day.

But there’s more, beyond the numbers. The Pennsylvania Lottery also teams up with responsible gambling groups to educate its retailers and consumers, to help encourage safe, responsible play; and, of course, provide a fun, exciting source of entertainment for all players – not to mention a big payout for the lucky winners.

The Lottery is reminding players to please play responsibly. Players must be 18 or older and for those who may have a gambling problem to call 1-800-GAMBLER or visit www.pacouncil.com. https://www.northcentralpa.com/life/entertainment/pa-lottery-to-hold-first-ever-facebook-live-drawing-for-a-chance-to-win-up/article_86a13cec-e248-11eb-b81c-e37220d47123.html
