The Florida Lottery encourages retailers, players to prevent underage gaming

For the holiday season, Florida Lottery wants to help prevent retailers and players from encouraging underage gaming.

“Responsible play is a cornerstone of our mission here at the Lottery. By ensuring that every Lottery player and retailer does their part to prevent underage gaming this holiday season, we can create a more enjoyable playing experience for everyone.” said Florida Lottery Secretary John F. Davis.

The lottery is strictly for ages 18 and older and is designed to be a form of entertainment.

The Florida Lottery will continue to spread the importance of adult gaming.

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, the Florida Lottery encourages you to contact the Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) at 1-888-ADMIT-IT, or the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700 for confidential help.
