Congratulations to the 11 University of Rhode Island students who received the IGT Scholarship for Women in Computer Science

Congratulations to the 11 University of Rhode Island students who received the IGT Scholarship for Women in Computer Science and were recently honored at our Providence office. IGT has invested $200,000 over the next four years for this scholarship that was spearheaded by IGT SVP and CTO of Global Gaming Rachel Barber, in partnership with URI.

“As a URI alum, I hope that this IGT Scholars Program inspires more women to take an interest in computer science-focused careers and empower them to confidently enter a career in technology,” said Rachel.
