Lottery announces chance to win a Panthers luxury suite for the 2019 season

RALEIGH – The North Carolina Education Lottery is teaming up with the Carolina Panthers to give football fans the chance to win a luxury suite for 12 for all home games in the 2019 football season.

This unique, once-in-a-lifetime prize is part of the second Carolina Panthers scratch-off game created by the lottery. All players have to do is enter the scratch-off ticket into the lottery’s second-chance drawing.

“We’re excited to bring players another Carolina Panthers scratch-off ticket,” said Mark Michalko, executive director of the N.C. Education Lottery. “This prize would be a big win for any Panthers fan, and the money raised from ticket sales will be a big win for education.”

The Carolina Panthers scratch-off ticket offers a top prize of $200,000. Odds of winning a top prize are one in 720,000 and the odds of winning a break-even or higher prize are 1 in 4.09.

All Carolina Panthers tickets can be entered into three second-chance drawings. In addition to the luxury suite, players have the chance to win the following prizes:

 -        Stadium Tent Tailgating Package: The prize includes a stadium tent with 20 tickets to see the Carolina Panthers take on the New York Giants on Oct. 7.

 -        Behind The Scenes Game Experience: The prize includes behind-the-scenes access for the winner and a guest, as well as a luxury suite for 14 to watch the Carolina Panthers play the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 25

The odds of winning any of these prizes depend on how many entries are submitted. The deadline to enter the first second-chance drawing is Aug. 31.

“These prizes are fun and unique for our players,” Michalko said. “But they also serve the dual purpose of helping raise money for education in North Carolina.”

Ticket sales from games like the Carolina Panthers scratch-off make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $600 million a year for education.
