IGT receives notice of intent to award an instant-ticket printing contract by the Iowa Lottery

IGT RECEIVES NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD INSTANT-TICKET PRINTING CONTRACT FROM THE IOWA LOTTERY

LONDON, U.K. – July 16, 2018 – IGT announced that it has received notice of intent to award an instant-ticket printing contract by the Iowa Lottery.

Upon successful completion of negotiations, IGT will continue to provide instant-ticket services for the Iowa Lottery including game planning and marketing, research and analytics, graphics support, and the production and printing of instant tickets through December 2020.

The proposed contract also allows for four one-year renewal options.

Instant tickets produced for the Iowa Lottery since 2015 have contributed $68 million in sales to assist the Lottery in their support of the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund; a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund; and the Vision Iowa program, which was implemented to create tourism destinations and community attractions in the state and build and repair schools.
