Education Lottery Commission to meet via teleconference 

RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery Commission will meet via teleconference on Friday, March 9. 

The commission plans to open its meeting at 8 a.m. and then immediately go into closed session, as permitted under the state’s Open Meeting Law, to consider a personnel matter. On the commission’s agenda is the search for a new executive director of the lottery. Alice Garland, the current executive director, plans to retire later this spring.
