Germany / Kentucky, USA, 28 March 2023 – IT service provider adesso is expanding its lottery business into the North American market for the first time: The consulting and software development company – headquartered in Germany and with around 60 other locations in Europe – becomes a member of the North American lottery association NASPL (North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries). NASPL membership marks the starting point for the rollout of the technology and consulting portfolio to the U.S. and Canadian markets.​

Appointment of W. Bishop Woosley as advisor

adesso has engaged Bishop Woosley of Woosley Gaming Advisors (WGA) for the systematic distribution business in the USA and Canada. Woosley, an experienced consultant and industry insider, led the Lottery of Arkansas and served as president of NASPL prior to his consulting career. In 2020, the lottery expert was inducted into the US "Lottery Hall of Fame".
