RFP - Tender Netherlands: The Gaming Authority (KSA) Market consultation regarding National counter function Addiction Prevention Fund

KSA invites: think along about the counter function of addiction prevention fund

February 27, 2020

The Gaming Authority (Ksa) calls on interested parties to think along with them about the national counter that is expected to provide information and help with problems with games of chance from July 1, 2021.

The national counter to be established is a consequence of the Remote Gambling Act . This law legalizes and regulates online gambling and tightens the requirements in the field of addiction prevention. The counter must be developed from the drawing board to the actual implementation. It is now expected that the counter will be active from 1 July 2021. From then on, information will be provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including help and treatment for (imminent) gambling addiction.

Consultation

The Gaming Authority invites interested parties to think through a so-called market consultation about how to complete the counter and the way in which the order can be issued. You can respond until 13 March 2020.
