GERMAN LOTTERY ADVANCES INSTANT GAME PARTNERSHIP WITH SCIENTIFIC GAMES THROUGH NEW, SEVEN-YEAR CONTRACT

Saarland-Sporttoto’s Moves to Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership to Power Instant Game Sales

LAS VEGAS and ATLANTA – August 12, 2021 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (“Scientific Games” or the “Company”) announces that its longtime lottery customer in Saarland, Germany will move to a full instant game partnership with the company in 2022. Through the new partnership, the Company will provide Saarland-Sporttoto with world-leading instant game design and portfolio management services, as well as technology-driven analytics and insights, game manufacturing, advanced logistics, technologies to support inventory management and distribution and services to retailers throughout the southwest German state. More than 20 lotteries participate in SGEP, including five of the top six instant game lotteries worldwide for instant game per capita sales (La Fleur’s 2021 Almanac, instant game per capita sales).
