Company’s Instant Ticket Gaming System Is Powering Swisslos, Top 10 Largest Instant Game Lotteries in Europe

LAS VEGAS and ATLANTA – July 6, 2021 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (“Scientific Games” or the “Company”) announces the successful launch of its instant ticket gaming system in Switzerland. The Company’s technology is now powering instant game sales for Swisslos Interkantonale Landeslotterie (“Swisslos” or the “Lottery”), one of the Top 10 largest instant game lotteries in Europe (La Fleur’s 2021 World Almanac, total instant game sales), serving a population of approximately 6.4 million across a network of 4,100 retailers.

Swisslos instant games represented USD $410 million of its $1.1 billion total lottery retail sales in 2020. In addition to instant games and the new instant ticket management system, Scientific Games provides the Lottery with a central lottery gaming system, WAVE™ retailer point-of-sale terminals, terminal software, and a sports betting solution.
