“At the Missouri Lottery, it’s our mission to help fund educational opportunities for Missouri students – with 100% of our proceeds earmarked for public education. In fact, the Missouri Lottery has contributed more than $6.5 billion to the state and public education since sales began in 1986. Wemake up about 4% of our state’s funding for public education each year – an ešort that’s shared by local, state and federal governments. Our contributions take the form of more resources in Missouri classrooms and more scholarship opportunities for our post-secondary students.” May Scheve Reardon, Executive Director MISSOURI LOTTERY “TheOhioLottery isproudtohelpsupportKthrough 12, vocational and special education programs in Ohio. Last fiscal year, the Ohio Lottery transferred $1.15 billion to the Lottery Profits Education Fund. With education at the core of our mission, the Ohio Lottery supports outstanding educators and students through the Partners in Education program by recognizing Academic All-Stars and Teachers of the Month monthly. We also believe in service to the community. Every year the Cash Explosion Show helps feed the hungry through its Facing Hunger Campaign. This year the campaign generated 2.5 tons of non-perishable food that was donated to the Cleveland Food Bank in March. The campaign has generated 30 tons of food for Ohio Food Banks since 2011.” Pat McDonald, Director OHIO LOTTERY “In 2019, a bill was passed granting college funding assistance to every Washingtonian who qualifies – the first of its kind in the U.S. – which is partially funded by the Lottery through the Washington State Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA). Washington’s Lottery proudly generated nearly $167 million for WOPA, which in addition to providing grants to college students, also supports early childhood education learning programs. Not only does everyone at Washington’s Lottery love to see the look in the eyes of a lottery winner, we cherish the opportunity to pave a better future for everyone in the state of Washington!” Marcus Glasper, Director WASHINGTON’S LOTTERY Estimated transfers to lottery beneficiaries in U.S., Canada and Mexico.
