Czech online gaming licence for partypoker

Online poker operator partypoker has been granted a licence to operate in the CzechRepublic, with a partnership with King’s Resort.

The licence sees partypoker become the second international operator to gain an online gambling licence in the country and becomes only the second licensed online poker room. Partypoker will initially be available on Mac and PC desktop platforms.

Tom Waters, managing director of partypoker said: “We are delighted to be working with King’s Resort to offer online poker in the Czech Republic.

“We have some ambitious and exciting plans for 2019 in partnership with King’s and there will be plenty on offer for Czech players.

“We are currently in the final stages of completing the technical set up and look forward to announcing further launch promotions and events and full details of our product offering in the coming weeks,” said Walters.

Leon Tsoukernik, owner of King’s Resort, added: “It is a great honour to co-operate on such an interesting project with such an important partner on a global level for us.

“We will be able to offer players great connection between the online and live game to maximise their gaming experience.

“King’s Resort is already a major player in the poker world, hosting Europe’s largest live poker room, and this is a further big step forward in our commitment to players.”
