Joint Press Conference Focusing on
Compulsive Gambling
WHAT: The New Jersey Lottery, in partnership with the Council on Compulsive Gambling (CCGNJ) and the Department of Human Services’ Division of Mental Health (DMHAS) will hold a joint press conference to mark National Problem Gambling Awareness Week that takes place
March 3 – 9 and New Jersey Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
WHY: The statewide campaign is designed to increase public and professional awareness of problem gambling issues and availability of services to assist those affected by problem gambling. The campaign is part of a national effort to spread the word that there is help for problem gambling and their families.
