1. Joint press release on behalf the Gambling Commission, Inspired Gaming Group and William Hill Organisation Limited

The gaming machine supplier Inspired Gaming Group and William Hill have agreed to make a joint ex gratia payment of £300,000 to the Responsible Gambling Trust; to be used at the Trust's discretion.

2. Commission briefs London boroughs on tackling illegal gaming machines

Cracking down on illegal gambling was top of the agenda at a training event run by the our Local Authority Liaison Unit (LALU) at Westminster City Council this month. More than 130 delegates from local authorities and police forces were shown what to look for when checking suspected illegal gaming machines, as well as being provided with updates on the latest legislation and guidance on gambling.
