Scioto Downs is the only racetrack in the state to be granted a license for the operation of VLTs. The recent refurbishment of the racino provided IGT with a strong foothold in the Midwestern VLT market, as the popular racing and gaming establishment recently added over two-thousand VLTs to its casino floor, with a third of the sale contracted to IGT. A roster of slot machine entertainment, which includes IGT's expansive 300-plus game theme library, will certainly help Scioto Downs to become a favorite hotspot for locals.

The Ohio Lottery Commission expects that the revenue from the operation of the VLTs will generate up to three million dollars per month for the state.
