MRSI WELCOMES MIKE LUDY AS VP, CLIENT SERVICES

CINCINNATI, July, 2012 - MRSI (Marketing Research Services Inc.) is pleased to announce that Mike Ludy has joined its marketing research team as vice president of client services.

Ludy specializes in lottery and gaming research and has conducted consumer and retail marketing research for 25 state and 3 international lotteries.

He brings a wealth of both supplier and client-side experience to MRSI. As president and founder ofMJL Services, Inc., Ludy conducted consumer and retail marketing research, as both a provider and a client, working in new product development, lottery start-ups, strategic marketing, and sales plan development, as well as brand and product management. Mike was also previously senior marketing director/manager at Camelot Group, plc (United Kingdom) where he managed NPD, advertising, POS, retail, and consumer promotions.

MRSI’s EVP group client services and marketing, David Murray states, “After 12 years working overseas in large part with the UK lottery, we are pleased to welcome Mike back to the U.S. lottery industry and are particularly excited that he decided to join the MRSI team. We know Mike will be a tremendous asset to MRSI and look forward to providing our lottery clients with the most comprehensive consumer research available.”

Mike and the MRSI Lottery Team have already hit the ground running with two new proprietary research options; GameOptimizerSM, an Internet-based qualitative tool that provides lotteries with the opportunity to fine tune their Instant Scratch Off games prior to quantitative testing, and GameSelectorSM, an Internet-based quantitative technique enabling players to rate potential new games, among existing games and those soon to be launched, in a simulated in-store environment.

In addition, the MRSI Lottery Team will provide traditional tracking and segmentation research, either online or by telephone when necessary, as well as qualitative research including online and in-person focus groups and one-on-ones.

Ludy will be based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Thank you to all of you who presented, served on a panel discussion, and participated at Smart-Tech.
