United States). - GTECH Corporation announced that Erik Dyson was promoted to Senior Vice President of Latin America and the Caribbean. Reporting to Jaymin B. Patel, President and CEO of the company. In this new role will be responsible for managing the operations of the firm and the search for new business opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
"Latin America and the Caribbean have become two of our fastest growing geographies," said Patel. "This region has become very diverse in terms of products and services we offer, and we expect further expansion and growth," he stressed.
"To achieve this it is important that we have a leader who can guide this growth and development. With Erik's business experience, strong leadership qualities and acute awareness of emerging markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, I am sure we will experience faster growth in these regions in the coming years, "he said.
Dyson will focus on ensuring that GTECH successfully execute its various private operator contracts in force in Colombia, Costa Rica and the Caribbean Lottery (Lottery located in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, Virgin Islands U.S. and Dominican Republic).
In addition, Dyson manages the operations that offer a diverse portfolio of products and services including bill payments, recharge cell phones, money transfers and government payments in the region.
Dyson joined GTECH in 2004 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility.Recently, he served as Vice President of Latin America, guiding the growth and development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Previously, he served as Senior Director of Real Goods and Services, managing the company's global portfolio of owned and leased facilities. In this role, he led the team that built GTECH's world headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island.

"As the market continues to evolve, I look forward to working with our existing and new customers to help them maximize their growth potential with innovative products and services," he added.
Prior to joining GTECH, Dyson worked in commercial real estate in the Boston area, managing a series of large-scale commercial developments. Before that, he spent three years working in El Salvador and Costa Rica, managing an affordable housing program Habitat for Humanity. He graduated from Harvard Business School, where he received his Master of Business Administration, and the American University, where he studied International Business and Finance.

Además, Dyson maneja las operaciones que ofrecen un variado portafolio de productos y servicios que incluyen pagos de facturas, recargas de teléfonos celulares, transferencias de dinero y pagos gubernamentales en la región.
Dyson se unió a Gtech en el 2004 y ha ocupado diversos cargos de creciente responsabilidad. Recientemente, se desempeñó como Vicepresidente de Latinoamérica, orientando el crecimiento y desarrollo en Latinoamérica y el Caribe.
Previamente, se desempeñó como Director Senior de Bienes e Inmuebles y Servicios, manejando el portafolio mundial de la compañía de las instalaciones propias y alquiladas. En este cargo, lideró el equipo que construyó la sede mundial de Gtech en Providence, Rhode Island.
