TENNESSEE CASH WINNING TICKET IS 300TH IN LOTTERY HISTORY WORTH $1,000,000 OR MORE

Jackpot-Winning Ticket Worth $1,148,030 Sold in Memphis

NASHVILLE – The 300th winning ticket in Tennessee Lottery history worth $1,000,000 or more was sold in Memphis.

A lucky Tennessee Cash player matched five out of five numbers plus the Cash Ball in Friday’s drawing to win $1,148,030, making the ticket the 300th worth $1,000,000 or more since the Tennessee Lottery began in 2004.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Elvis Exxon, 4679 Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis.

No additional information is available until the prize is claimed.

The Lottery awarded its first $1 million check on June 26, 2004 to a lucky player from Knoxville at the culmination of Millionaire Live!, a half-hour televised event.

The 100th winning ticket of $1 million or more was a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks ticket purchased at the Old Medina Market and claimed on December 18, 2012 by a winner out of Jackson.

On November 26, 2016, the “Tennessee 20,” a group of co-workers at an automotive parts factory in Portland, won a $420.9 Powerball jackpot from a ticket purchased at Smoke Shop in Lafayette. The ticket was also the 200th sold worth $1 million or more since inception.
