Totalizator Sportowy announces the best results in history. The company increased revenues by over 8 percent. The sale of Totalizator Sportowy in the past year exceeded PLN 6.1 billion (in 2017 it was 5.6 percent). In the company, they do not hide that the great result is largely due to the gambling act (it came into force two years ago), which limited the gray zone in this industry. As a result, Totalizator Sportowy (TS) gained new development opportunities on the domestic market. And he used it. The state-owned company launched a well-known international game Eurojackpot, started the construction of a network of salons with vending machines, and also launched an online casino and entered the sale of numerical games to the Internet. - These are the most important changes in the company's 60-year history, which were used to introduce a number of innovations and technological revolutions - emphasizes Olgierd Cieślik, president of TS.

With the increase in TS revenues, the amount of subsidies for sport and culture increased. Their value also broke the record - for the first time exceeded PLN 1 billion. In 2018, PLN 770.3 million was transferred to the Fund for Development of Physical Culture, and PLN 205.4 million for the Culture Promotion Fund. In addition, in total, PLN 51 million went to the Gambling Solutions Fund and the Civil Society Development Fund.
