Lottery scratch-off games and Online Game Cards may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

Online Game Cards have been a popular way for players to fund their online accounts because they allow players to buy in store and play online without using a credit card or bank account.

About 25 percent of online players have used an Online Game Card at least once to fund their account. To play online games, players may visit www.michiganlottery.com.

About 97 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets benefits the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.

Preliminary figures show the Lottery provided a record $890.2 million in the 2016 fiscal year to help support Michigan’s public schools. Since it began in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $20.5 billion to support public education.
