Microsoft increases focus on iGaming Sector

Adrian Gatt has been appointed Business Development Manager for Microsoft in Greece, Malta and Cyprus with a specific focus on the iGaming industry.

"My position is not just for Malta but for Microsoft across the Central and Eastern European region and signifies the increased focus and resources that Microsoft is allocating and is willing to invest in the growing iGaming industry," said Adrian Gatt when speaking about his recent appointment.

An engineer by profession with several years of experience across several industries within business development and managerial roles, Adrian's main responsibilities will now be those of strategically positioning Microsoft, its solutions and product offerings and work with its partners to offer companies within the iGaming industry a focused reference to help them meet their business requirements.

iGaming is an industry that Microsoft is investing in and this investment is the result of the work done over the past few years by a task force set up specifically to address the needs and requirements of the iGaming community. Since then Microsoft has worked with customers and partners to develop specialised and inhouse solutions using its Azure cloud platform.

"My role will focus on the requirements identified by this task force and will ensure that we remain close to the community while working with our partners to deliver on our mission to empower organisations to achieve more."

"In my new position, I will be working with educational institutions on the latest Microsoft certification requirements to boost the resources available for the industry, to enhancing our relationships with the industry's organisations, whether operators or suppliers, highlighting our solutions and opportunities focused for the iGaming industry," concluded Adrian Gatt.
