The Iowa Senate voted 50-0 last night to confirm Terry’s re-appointment. His current term as CEO ends April 30 and he now will serve another four-year term that begins May 1. Gov. Terry Branstad had nominated Terry for re-appointment on March 1, sending his nomination to the state Senate for its vote.
Terry has served as CEO of the Iowa Lottery since February 2009. During his first two terms at the lottery, he also served as president of the important industry group the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) in 2014-2015.
