The year 2019 represents a milestone for the WLA, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. On August 30, 1999, the final hurdles were cleared and AILE and Intertoto united to form the World Lottery Association.
We would like to ask all WLA members to join us in this celebration by sending a short video (maximum two minutes) telling us what the world lottery community means to you and your organization and how you see the lottery sector developing over the next 20 years. We are looking for informal videos, taken with your smart phone or mobile devices. As we would like to hear from all our members, all video submissions are welcome; submissions do not need to come exclusively from CEOs or other senior management.
At the beginning of your video please state your name, your job title, and the organization for which you work. Ideally, you should hold your mobile device horizontally so that all the videos we receive have a consistent visual format. For optimal exposure record your video in a well-lit environment and avoid backlighting.
Your video can be sent to us using either WeTransfer or Google Drive.
Send your video to us via wetransfer.com using the following steps:
- Go to WeTransfer.
- Accept the terms of service for free usage.
- Click the plus sign and add your files for uploading.
- In the field “Email to” type This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- Add your email address in the field “Your email”.
- In the field “Message” type your name, the name of your organization, and your job title.
- Click the “Transfer” button to send your files.
- Wait until the upload is complete before closing your browser.
Alternatively, you can upload your video to our Google Drive.
The best video submissions will be showcased on the WLA’s social media channels. A selection of those videos received before Friday, June 14, will be transcribed and appear in the next edition of the WLA magazine.
Feel free to send the video in your native language. We see the diversity of cultures that the WLA represents as one of its greatest assets.
