THE SAZKA GROUP APPOINTS TONY KHATSKEVICH AS CTO
The SAZKA Group continues to strengthen its top management team with the appointment of Tony Khatskevich to the new position of Chief Technology Officer.
Khatskevich will head the SAZKA Group’s Technology Unit and will work closely with the heads of the technology divisions of the Group’s individual member companies. He will report directly to SAZKA Group’s CEO Robert Chvatal.
Khatskevich has worked in research and development and taken part in the implementation of numerous technological innovations throughout his career. During recent years, Khatskevich has specialised in developing technologies for the gaming industry. This skillset and experience fits perfectly with the SAZKA Group’s vision, which is based on, among other things, the ability to rapidly exploit new opportunities brought about by technological innovation.

Khatskevich has extensive international experience of managing technology organisations.

Khatskevich’s career began in the academic world and he holds a master’s degree and a doctorate from Tbilisi State University in Georgia. He has gained extensive experience with technology development and management in the gaming industry as well as in other sectors. During his professional career, he has taken part in the implementation of numerous technological innovations. Khatskevich has worked in Georgia, Israel, and Estonia. From 2012, he worked for Playtech in Estonia, the world´s largest online gaming software supplier, where his responsibilities included global client operations.
